In modern era, due to high demand for this formulation, its large scale preparation in the pharmaceutical industry is done by using machines such as pulp extraction machine and mawa frying machine. In Ayurveda text i.e. in tradition method, this preparative procedure utilizes manpower. There is difference in applied force as well as frequency of friction between Chyawanprash prepared by pharmacy method and traditional method making traditional preparation method more superior to the pharmacy method. The traditional method uses comparitively lesser sugar, more utilisation of all the 54 ingredients in proper ratio unlike large scale productions that do not include all these in the preparation to reduce the cost of product. We also include a very unique method of incorporating the Amla juice making it more efficient when compared to other sources available in the market.
